Residency Application Process

Early-stage Consultation

Applicants should discuss the qualifications and conditions for incubation with the Center regarding the technology, product, or business plan they wish to develop. For details, please contact the following incubation area representatives for consultation.

Conditions of Residency:

  1. Small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) registered within the Republic of China with a capital of less than NT$80 million or less than 200 employees.
  2. Those whose technology or products demonstrate innovation.
  3. Innovative concepts and business models.
  4. Carrying out industry-academia collaboration projects.
  5. Startups founded by NYCU teachers or students.
  6. The company has established for less than eight years.

Document Review                          

For those who meet the incubation fields and conditions, please follow the instructions of the point of contact and provide the following documents:
  1. A copy of the business registration certificate or the Application for Company Name Reservation
  2. Residency Application Form ⭳ odt 
  3. SME Business Operations and Development Plan Proposal ⭳ odt 
  4. Declaration of Consent to Review ⭳ odt

Convening an Evaluation Meeting

In principle, one meeting is convened quarterly, with adjustments made based on actual circumstances.
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center will invite both on-campus and off-campus experts to conduct reviews.  Each case review is limited to 50 minutes, consisting of a 20-minute presentation (including company introduction and business plan content), 20 minutes for Q&A, and 10 minutes for the review committee to discuss and provide feedback.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center will respond to applicants with the evaluation results via email within 7 business days after the meeting, followed by an official written notification.

Signing the Incubation Agreement                        

Applicants or entities that pass the evaluation meeting must sign an incubation agreement within 6 months. Failure to do so will result in the loss of eligibility for entry.
