The Center was established in December 1997 in the Electronic Information Building of the University and was later relocated to the Bo-Ai Campus in October, 1999. In pursuit of “Stability, Growth, Prosperity, and Excellence,” the incubator promotes the commercialization of innovative technology and assists with the growth and development of startups. Through initiatives such as campus entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and the establishment of new ventures, the center aims to unleash the potential of the campus and industry, maximizing the effectiveness of academic resources for industrial utilization.
Incubation Fields: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Applications, Biotechnology Industry, and Cultural and Creative Industries.

The Si-Soft Hsinchu Science Park Business Center is one of the infrastructure development projects at Si-Soft Research Center under the “SOC Product Design Services and Technology R&D Project” promoted by the Science Park Administration (hereinafter referred to as “the Administration”.) Currently, it is operated in collaboration with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, serving as an innovative cooperation model between the government, universities, and industries. This collaboration strengthens the connections between the government, industry, and academia, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the added value of the Hsinchu Science Park's international network and advancing the development of technology services.
The incubator was certified by the “National Business Incubation Association (NBIA)”, and received Taiwan's first international entrepreneurship environment certification, pioneering a new business model with quality assurance from “International Certification.” In addition to providing small office spaces for incubating companies and residents in the park, the incubator also offers flexible and mobile office desks and meeting room rentals, among other services, to enhance the added value of the park's industries and strengthen their competitiveness in the international business market.

- Jan Qi Building is an advanced research center for smart hospitals, located on the southwest side of the Bo-Ai Campus. The building is 10 stories high and features multi-purpose spaces, including a lecture hall, medium to large lecture rooms, exhibition halls, lounges, biomedical laboratories, interdisciplinary laboratories, and administrative offices.
- The biomedical accelerator quickly guides startup teams to develop marketable products or services, accelerating their path to success.
- By combining the innovative research of Yi Ching Hospital with the university’s academic and research units, a “cluster effect” is generated that accelerates the development of the biomedical electronics field.
- The center will collaborate closely with the industry in the future, integrating the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors of the industry chains.
