Researchers, due to the needs of scientific research, may, with the consent of the academic or research institution they are affiliated with, hold concurrent positions in enterprises, organizations, or associations in the following roles:

1. The position is related to the individual's primary research field and does not involve executive management duties.
2. The main R&D technology provider of a startup or the board member.

The Spin-off Project Committee meeting will evaluate the suitability, efficacy, and feasibility of a startup, and determine the valuation of the technology and matters related to contribution to the University of the Spin-off.

For residency requirements, please refer to the “Residency Application Process” webpage. *The primary purpose of the incubation site is to mentor startups, so it is less suitable for companies that only need office space rental.

For startups currently located at the Si-Soft Incubation Site, they can register their offices using the incubator's address. However, this policy does not apply to startups at other incubation sites.

The Center consists of four incubation sites, Xuefu, Si-Soft, CPT Building and BoAi. Each site is established to provide different services, and as such, they have different charge standards. For the residency process, please refer to the “Residency Application Process” webpage. We encourage you to contact managers at the incubators for early-stage consultation and initial evaluations. Once your application is approved and the document evaluation is ratified, we will invite you to attend the evaluation meeting with your documents. Upon approval, you can proceed with signing the incubation agreement. It takes about three weeks from the document evaluation to the convening of the evaluation meeting.
